Don’t Just Take Our Word For It

Bloody, yet tender. Funny, yet poignant. The boys are back and more hysterical than ever. I am delighted that Wynn Wagner is writing again, after a near fatal disease almost took him from us. Here the author lets us ride this tale through the eyes of a sarcastic vampire who would never admit to the flaws we all see so plainly. I don’t know how author Wynn Wagner maintains such a difficult voice, but he pulls it off flawlessly. How did he even do that? My money is on designer drugs or expensive counseling or both.

Smart is the main thing. Gay vampires with proper suction are here again. Wynn’s books are fun. He doesn’t just tell the story: he shows it, working real close to the net. Grab my hand and pull me along. Dare me to keep up. It’s great! I am totally in love with Mårten with all his hysterical character flaws. He learns and grows in every book. There could not be a more perfect narrator for my favorite vampire series! The vampire’s conversations with his book editor are priceless.

Sick of the same old tired, über-powerful vamps but can’t quite let go of those sexy suckers? Definitely give Vamp Camp a try then. This hilarious, witty, sly, entertaining, sexy, and flat-out laugh-out-loud funny romp hits so many high points.…

Goodbye, vampires in New Orleans, Colonial era. Hello, vampires in Germany, World War One era. Author Wynn Wagner tackles a subject that many authors have tackled, notably Anne Rice, and he has found new and colorful and erotic ways to write about it. Best of all, he does it with the deliciously dry wit that infuses everything he writes.
